Life becomes a rut when we view risks as dangerous threats to our security rather than as opportunities for growth!

I am please to announce that my first project as a ISV has nearly been completed.

Minnamurra Open Results
By Michael on Wednesday, April 25, 2007

Last weekend all the boys went for a weekend of golf. A good chance to get away from our ladies for a little.

We went down on the friday night to begin our adventure. We started our first drinks at about 9pm, not long after that the poker kicked off. After a long game of poker, in which cheyne won, we headed off to the spa. In the spa we polished 2 bottles of burbon and Brenton had a little chunder over the side of the spa.

Sat morning we all woke up feeling average. 1pm we were off to the course for some golfing action. Kiama downs is the only golf course I know of where you can get beer half way. As we were walking up to beer shed the aussie block looked at us and made a comment of the weekend "Boys, The barby is off, but the beers are cold".

Sat night was a huge night. We started at the local kiama pub, came back and hit the poker(Cheyne won)... Many drinks were drunk...

We finished off on sunday with a game of ambrose. The teams were Jaza & Brenton, Cheyne & Matt, Michael & Steve.

All in all it was a great weekend.

The results

Day 1 - Individual Stableford

Overall Winner - Jarrad
Nearest the Pin - Jarrad
Longest Drive - Keith
Wooden Spoon - Brenton

Day 2 - Ambrose

Overall Winners - Steve & Michael
Nearest the Pin - Brenton(nice work)
Longest Drive - Matt
Wooden Spoon - Jaza & Brenton

Congratulations on Brenton getting the wooden spoon on both days. :)

Thanks everyone for turning up. Hopefully we will have some photos up soon enough.

New York Job Application
By Michael on Tuesday, February 27, 2007

Talk about a hectic month.. Too much stuff going on...

At the start of the year I heard about a large US software company that was looking for Microsoft Developers Specifically C#.NET. They are offering free travel to the US, free accommodation and a NY salary. I would really love to live and work in NY, it would be the time of my life.

The company is Infusion Development and here is the job that I am applying for.

Last month I spoke with a lady from HR, she arranged a technical interview for me. So this week I had a technical interview with a manager. It was very daunting at first but once I started having a chat with the manager everything seemed to go well. I made it through to the next round, So now I have a second technical interview...

Scary but also exciting....
